Two young girls have been arrested in central London, August 21 in suspicion of trying to join ISIS in Syria. The girls were taken into custody around 9PM, and you can see the Scotland Yard police statement here.
A teenage girl, 16, and a 20-year-old woman were “arrested on suspicion of traveling to Syria to join ISIS,” Daily Mail reported.
“Officers from the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command arrested a 20-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts, namely traveling to Syria to join a proscribed organization,” the site said Scotland Yard stated.
