The best time is from 2-3 AM EST. If you don’t think you can make the occasion, YOU CAN WATCH THE DELTA AQUARIS METEOR SHOWER RIGHT HERE. There’s even a countdown so you can easily keep track.
It’s important to know you’re looking in the right direction when searching for the meteor shower. Although it’s an average shower, compared to some, there’s still a great chance you can catch up to 20 meteors per hour. You should be looking toward the southern sky. And don’t worry about the moon disrupting your view, its light won’t distract a thing from witnessing any sky magic.
This meteor shower can be seen the best by anyone in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as, those in the more southerly regions of the Northern Hemisphere, USA Today points out. The next shower is the Perseids. That one is set to peak August 11, 12 and 13. It’s actually known as the greatest summer meteor shower, with 50 or more meteors per hour. WOW!
