There’s major buzz about the Beyhive! Authorities believe Beyonce’s fans could be the culprits in a hack on Rachel Roy’s email and phone! The attack is allegedly a ‘Becky with the good hair’ revenge plot taken out on the designer after she posted a retaliation photo following ‘Lemonade’.
How could we forget the infamous moment when Beyonce, 34, released her latest infidelity album, Lemonade in April 2016, and fans went nuts over the mysterious line “Becky with the good hair” in her hit “Sorry”. The internet had a field day with the fact that her former friend and now foe, Rachel Roy, 42 could have been “Becky”… she does have good hair, so it could’ve made sense, right? Well, we’ll leave that up to the detectives, we mean Beyhive.
On the same night of the release of Bey’s Lemonade special, her visual album, Rachel took to Instagram to post a now-deleted photo of she and a friend seemingly gawking at something, with the controversial caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light,” with the hashtag “nodramaqueens”. A few days later, Rachel called the LAPD reporting her “Gmail and iCloud accounts had been hacked,” TMZ is reporting. Her cell phone number had apparently been changed without her permission too. In documents obtained by the site, Rachel reveals that “she believes all the trouble stemmed from that ‘Good hair don’t care’ Instagram post.” Rachel’s IG accounts was also spammed with bee emojis at the time, obviously from the singer’s loyal fans, and her daughter was even attacked over the photo-sharing site as well.
LAPD sources told TMZ that they have obtained a search warrant to investigate through her phone and email records. Apparently the theory they do suspect is that the Beyhive is behind it all.
‘Lemonade’ Timeline: Beyonce, Jay Z & Rachel Roy’s History — PICS
There hasn’t been much comment from either party in the hush hush on-going feud, but they almost came close to meeting face-to-face at the 2016 CFDA Awards on June 6. However, Rachel avoided a potential awkward run-in when she fled the scene before Bey and her fam arrived. Rachel did put out a statement following the release of the album in April slamming any rumors that she’s the “other” woman involved in Bey and Jay‘s, 46, past marital issues, and that there is “no truth” to the rumors.
