Keeping the family close! Although Donald Trump is down in the polls, as of August 4, he’s thinking about who he would name to be in his cabinet if he pulls a victory over Hillary Clinton. He proudly gushed that daughter Ivanka Trump is ‘doing very well,’ BUT did he just suggest someone else would be ‘talented’ enough for the coveted role?
It looks like Donald, 70, is already thinking about his potential picks for his cabinet, and he’s suggesting his daughter’s name to be thrown into the mix as a possible frontrunner. “I can tell you everybody would say, ‘Put Invank in! Put Ivanka in!’ you know that, right?,” he said when co-host of First Coast News’, The Chat, Angelica Savage asked him who he would pick. He continued to gush over Ivanka, 34 and said, “She’s very popular, she’s done very well.” After her killer speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention, would she take on the HUGE role?
Well, time will tell for that one, but it seems Donald has a backup just in case. Angelica actually used to work for the Trump Organization and claimed in the video that she knew him for “20 years now.” Donald even mentioned that Angelica knew Ivanka, and then seemed to suggest she was “talented” enough for a spot in the cabinet. “There really are so many people that are really talented people,” he said, “Like you – you’re so talented, but I don’t know if your viewers know that.” Angelica looked so excited after his response. She jokingly said, “Is this breaking news? Am I going to be in the cabinet? Is that a yes?” The Republican presidential nominee played along. He joked, “Sounds like it to me – looking good to me.”

But, if Ivanka is really considered for the role, we’re wondering if she will take it on. The mom-of-three is super busy with her family, her booming business, and working with her father already. How could she do it all? Well we’re confident the multi-talented businesswoman could handle it! Not to mention, she was feeling positive about her options after rave reviews from her 2016 RNC speech. We’ll have to wait and see what happens!
