OMG, did we just get a major clue that Chase McNary will be the next ‘Bachelor’? The show’s creator Mike Fleiss said that he’d be dropping a hint during the premiere of his new TLC series ‘Love At First Kiss,’ and there were some very subtle signs pointing to the hottie from Denver.
“There’s a clue as to who will be our new Bachelor on tonite’s premiere of our new show on TLC!!!” Mike Fleiss, 52, tweeted to fans Aug 3, hoping to get them to watch his show and get hooked, while also looking for hints as to who the new Bachelor could be. We watched along with rabid Twitter fans and there weren’t any glaring hints, then the reality show guru later revealed, “Ok, I’ll admit it. The clue was pretty subtle.” With that in mind, here’s the case for the new Bachelor being 25-year-old JoJo Fletcher‘s cast off Chase McNary, 27.
In scenes from upcoming episodes, a couple was seen doing yoga together on purple mats. JoJo and Chase had their very first one on one date doing yoga together and shared their first steamy kiss, with bodies wrapped around each other in intimate poses. None of the rest of the upcoming season’s highlights gave away anything other that people kissing or wandering around random places together, so the yoga clip — as quick as it was — definitely stood out.
Eagle-eyed Twitter users also noted a few really subtle hints that could also be tied the handsome medical sales rep. Chase was known for wearing V-neck shirts and a contestant on LAFK was wearing a very similar look. Another clue being discussed was the contestant on the show who had his very first kiss also had roses, which are handed out to winning contestants on The Bachelor and Bachelorette. When Chase finally told JoJo he loved her in their fateful fantasy suite date, he said it was the first time he’d ever told a woman he loved her without hearing it first. So could the two “firsts” be another sign?
Chase has admitted that he’s been in talks with the show’s producers about becoming the next Bachelor after JoJo sent him packing when she dumped him in the fantasy suite. She revealed her feelings for him weren’t as strong as his, it was SO devastating and poor Chase took it really hard. It would be so great to see him get a second chance at finding the woman of his dreams.
