OMG, this is unbelievable! The National Rifle Association is actually throwing its weight behind Donald Trump following his incendiary comments towards Hillary Clinton. He implied that Second Amendment fans should try to assassinate his rival before she can appoint any pro-gun control judges if elected. Keep reading for the NRA’s provocative tweets of support.
Wow, just wow. The NRA is totally backing Donald Trump‘s hint at a call to arms to assassinate Hillary Clinton, 68, during a Wilmington, NC campaign stop on Aug. 9. To gin up the crowd, he lied and said that,”Hillary essentially wants to abolish the Second Amendment,” which is something that’s completely untrue. He went a step further trying to frighten the crowd by telling them, “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is,” which many perceived as telling his gun-loving supporters to take out Hillary. So scary!
The NRA threw their support 100 percent behind the Republican presidential nominee, saying through a series of tweets that the Donald was right! Their initial tweet read “ is right. If gets to pick her anti- judges, there’s nothing we can do. .” Umm, how about addressing the perceived threat of violence he made against Hillary instead of claiming she’ll pick a Supreme Court Justice that hates the Second Amendment? Hillary has never said anything about abolishing that part of the constitution, she’s simply looking at smarter gun control issues. They even used the hashtag “Never Hillary” to back up Donald’s statements.
The NRA took a little dodge around Donald’s inflammatory hint for gun rights activists to do harm to Hillary by claiming the action they need to take isn’t violence, but getting out and voting for the Republican nominee.
The powerful gun lobby then tried claiming that the entire right to bear arms in the constitution could be erased with a Hillary victory, claiming that the Second Amendment was on the ballot in the form of a vote between Hillary and Donald. Again, she’s not trying to abolish it, she’s simply talking about sensible gun control measures that would probably never pass the House and Senate anyway!

Then the NRA did their usual outrageous — and incorrect — claim that Hillary will take away everyone’s guns and that she will “leave you defenseless.” Wrong again, but way to try to scare gun fanatics to head to the polls in November.
