The human brick wall that is Hope Solo, 35, will be back in the net for the USWNT, with Meghan Klingenberg, 28, Becky Sauerbrunn, 31, and Kelly O’Hara, 27, will fill out the back four, according to SB Nation. Wit these women shutting down any of New Zealand’s attack, it leaves players like World Cup stars Christen Press, 27, Alex Morgan, 27 and the historic hat trick-scoring Carli Lloyd, 34, to lead the charge.

It’s time for the younger players of the USWNT to take the spotlight. Abby Wambach, 36, Lauren Holiday, 28, and Shannon Boxx, 39, have all hung up their cleats, while veterans Christie Rampone, 41, and Heather O’Reilly, 31, are not in Brazil, according to the International Business Times. It’s a great opportunity for many hungry players like Crystal Dunn, 24, to shine.

On the Kiwi side, Amber Hearn, 31, and Sarah Gregorius, 28, will be a 1-2 punch that will try to knock the Americans down a peg or two. The Football Ferns secret weapon might just be Ria Percival, 26, the defensive player who might help New Zealand score an explosive start of the 2016 Olympic games.

The U.S. is expected to take this first game. Their main rival in Group G is France, though Colombia will also give the Stars and the Stripes a run for the money when they meet on Aug. 9. But right now, the USWNT is focused on taking on New Zealand.

Who will win this game, HollywoodLifers? Are you excited to watch all the soccer action at the Olympics? Who do you think will take home the gold medal?
