Simone Biles, 19, has already proved she’s one of the greats after her impressive display at the 2016 Rio Olympics. So of course, the gold-medalist was selected as one of the athletes for the newest installment in Nike’s “Unlimited Pursuit” Campaign. Also starring in the motivational ad, is some of the most powerful female stars, including her fellow “Final Five” gymnast Gabby Douglas and tennis player Serena Williams. The ladies can be seen getting in their zone mentally, as they train vigorously for each of their sports. Is it time to head to the gym now?!
Simone ends the video with an impressive backhand spring and a series of tumbles, showcasing exactly why she’s got such a stellar reputation as a gymnast. (This also marks the second Nike commercial for Simone, who signed with the sports brand last fall). Scout Bassett, the renowned amputee triathlete, basketball star Elena Delle Donne and track star Allyson Felix were also featured in the ad. In addition, runners English Gardner, Dafne Schippers and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce showed off their skills, as well as soccer player Alex Morgan. Each of them flaunted their undeniable strength as “I’m On The Pursuit Of Happiness” played in the background. GIRL POWER!

Nike explained their selection, “Recovering from setbacks, losses and injury, rising from obscurity and destroying obstacles to claim victory, they command the spotlight and inspire Nike to innovate to match their strength and their dreams.” Their press release also noted how the athletes are those “who push their own limits to embark on an unlimited journey to empower the next generation of athletes.” They definitely made some great choices. Way to slay, ladies!
