It looks like some of the Team USA basketball players got schooled August 3 when they stepped into a Rio brothel, TMZ reported. Apparently the athletes thought “they were walking into a spa,” when it ended up being nothing of the sort. YOU CAN SEE THE PHOTOS RIGHT HERE!
“DeAndre Jordan, DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, DeMar Derozan and possibly 3 other players went out on the town Wednesday night in Rio and strolled into Termas Monte Carlo,” TMZ said. A source told the site, “The players got the standard line, so they assumed it was kosher,” and then “they realized it wasn’t the right place for them and immediately left.” Supposedly the guys were well-behaved inside the x-rated Rio hotspot, since they “were only seen hanging at the bar,” the site said. “They bought booze … nothing more.”

It makes sense that the athletes could have made a mistake in thinking the place was just a regular social spot, because the brothel will reportedly inform you that it’s a “spa” exclusive to “male customers” only. WHAT! The spot is known to be one of Rio’s “high-end brothels” too, according to Rolling Stone.
We can’t believe the players actually entered a brothel, especially ahead of the 2016 Olympics! We’re sure they didn’t mean to make such a move, so maybe next time they will educate themselves a bit more when choosing their night out plans!
