Roger Ailes is on his way out at Fox. But whether or not he stayed, it wouldn’t have affected his sexual harassment lawsuit with Gretchen Carlson, according to her rep, who spoke with HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Find out how Gretchen feels about the CEO’s exit here.
“No one is gloating over this,” Gretchen Carlson‘s, 50, spokesperson, Allan Ripp, told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Although, we wouldn’t blame her if she did gloat a little. “But it’s an amazing and stunning development coming less than three weeks after Gretchen’s lawsuit was filed. Clearly the connection between the two events are unmistakable… What’s happened internally at Fox has zero impact on the litigation which is continuing. Roger Aisles’ exit is not part of the litigation. The intention still remains to take this lawsuit to a public jury trial, rather than a secret arbitration proceeding.”
We applaud Gretchen’s ability to stay so level-headed in what must be a very emotional time, as she is constantly having to discuss such disturbing things that allegedly went on between her and Roger Ailes, 76. According to Gretchen, Roger repeatedly requested sex from her, ordered her to show off her body to him and bragged about sleeping around. Several other women, including Megyn Kelly, 45, have since come forward, using their real names, to go on the record with similar allegations.

So, would Gretchen ever accept a job at Fox News again, if they apologized for what happened? “[She] hopes to continue her highly successful broadcasting and journalism career, and should have ample opportunity to do that elsewhere,” Allan said. So… maybe not then. But we don’t blame her, if it was not a comfortable working environment, why would she ever consider going back? The former anchor is not giving any direct quotes on the situation at the moment for legal reasons, her rep told HollywoodLife.com.
