Wow! Now that Roger Ailes has resigned as Fox News chief, will his alleged sexual harassment victim Gretchen Carlson return to the network? He was the reason the longtime host and anchor got the boot so keep reading to see if the Fox favorite will be making a triumphant comeback.

When asked if she would ever accept a job back at Fox if they apologized, her spokesperson Allan Ripp tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that, “Gretchen hopes to continue her highly successful broadcasting and journalism career, and should have ample opportunity to do that elsewhere.” Gretchen is so talented and such a well-liked TV personality that we’re sure another network will snap her up quickly!

The 50-year-old sued the now former head of the network Roger Ailes, 73, on July 6 for giving her the boot after 11 productive years with Fox News, and accused him of sexual harassment. She claimed he downsized her role at the network and was eventually shown the door because she rejected his alleged sexual advances.

Her suit certainly got the ball rolling for the Fox News chief’s ultimate demise, as their parent company’s lawyers had private investigators look into whether other women at the network had been victimized by Roger. It was revealed July 19 that Fox’s biggest star Megyn Kelly, 45, claimed she was sexually harassed by him in her early days with the network. After that bombshell broke, talk of Roger being forced to resign or get fired reached a fever pitch that ended in his humiliating resignation 48 hours later.

Even though Roger is now gone from the network he built into a conservative powerhouse, Gretchen is still looking forward to her story being heard in a court of law. “What’s happened internally at Fox has zero impact on the litigation which is continuing. Roger Ailes’ exit is not part of the litigation. The intention still remains to take this lawsuit to a public jury trial, rather than a secret arbitration proceeding.” Allan tells us. Whew, juries are known to give out pretty big sums when lawsuits like this are successful,so the former Fox and Friends host could be looking at a multi-million dollar payout if she wins. But at this point, it seems that she just wants her voice and her story heard for the public record.
