Woohoo! Justin Timberlake now has another award to add to his massive collection — and a well-deserved one, at that. The ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ singer received the Decade Award at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards on July 31.
The award recognizes Justin Timberlake‘s evolution as an artist over the last 10 years. And it’s probably the perfect time to be giving Justin an award like this because it just so happens to be the 10th anniversary of his second solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, which was the year’s top-selling album by a solo artist in 2006.
The 35-year-old also has the record for the most Teen Choice Awards earned by a male artist in the history of the show — 22 surfboards in total to be exact. (We wonder where he keeps them all!)
While on stage accepting his award from Kobe Bryant, Justin said, “Thank you Teen Choice. As a former teen, a while ago, who’s made a few choices along the way, I’m here to tell you that you and your choices matter.”
“We are all different, but that doesn’t mean we all don’t want the same thing. So to all you teens out there, I ask you to not learn from my example, but all the greats who have come before me,” he added. “Arrive early and stay late — that’s how you become a champion.”
He also shared three points of wisdom he learned from the late great Muhammad Ali.

Aside from the Decade Award, Justin was also nominated for three other awards this year — Choice Party Song, Choice Summer Song and Choice Song From a Movie or TV Show — all for his super popular Trolls track, “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
