Brittany Sackett, 31, began dating Taylor Kinney, 35, back in 2010 when they were next door neighbors in L.A., but then he got a role opposite Lady Gaga, 30 in her 2011 ‘You and I” video playing her lover and sparks flew. Brittany later found out he was cheating on her with Gaga and dumped the then up-and-coming actor, who has been with the singer ever since. But after the shocking announcement July 19 that the couple were ending their five-year relationship, Britt wonders if another woman could have been the reason.
“I am sad that it didn’t work out for them, but truthfully I’m not surprised,” Brittany tells the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview. “People that cheat and then don’t come clean about it, but leave it for the other to find out don’t hold honesty and open communication as a main value in their relationship.” Brittany claims she discovered Taylor’s affair when he accidentally butt-dialed her while having a romp with Gaga where she could hear everything.

‘Taylor is weak-willed and disloyal, it wouldn’t surprise me if he betrayed her too,” she spills. “He broke my heart because he was dishonest, I just hope he hasn’t been dishonest with her as well. At his age it’s challenging to change habits that are ingrained and how he functions in relationships. It’s my belief that a leopard doesn’t change its spots.” Whew, she totally thinks that Taylor easily could have stepped out on Gaga!
For Gaga’s sake, it doesn’t sound like Taylor broke her heart or cheated, as she posted a loving message about their relationship hours after the break-up announcement came. She Instagrammed a photo of the pair with the message, “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.” Awww, how could you not cheer on their love!
