Oh no! Rihanna was in Nice, France when the horrific terror truck massacre went down, and it turns out she was frighteningly close to the awful event. Photos have emerged of the singer leaving dinner not far from the attack scene and from the tense look on her face she just learned of the devastating carnage nearby.
OMG, it’s so scary to think that Rihanna, 28, was a mere 20 minutes away from the scene of the awful Nice terror attack where Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, 31, drove a large truck through a crowd of Bastille Day Revelers, killing 84 people, including 10 children. Photos show the distraught singer leaving dinner with a tall glass of red wine in one hand and a her cell phone in the other, possibly to get updates about the nearby tragedy. She looks distressed in the photos, and in several her security team can be seen with the star, making sure she was safe and out of harm’s way. The tragedy marred what looked like to be a relaxing night out for the singer, who was due to appear in concert for her #ANTI World Tour at a stadium in Nice July 15. Needless to say, that show has since been cancelled. RiRi dressed to the nines for her dinner out in the French Riviera city, wearing a super stylish outfit featuring a long-sleeved white crop top with black pinstripes and flowing pants to match. Even her hair and makeup were totally polished so she really went all out for any Nice fans who crossed her path that fateful night.

While Rihanna was out at dinner, the rest of her team was staying at a hotel directly across from the Promenade des Anglais where the carnage occurred. RiRi’s personal chef Debbie Solomon wrote on Instagram about the terrifying attack, saying that “After a beautiful day in Nice. It ends with tragedy right in front of our hotel. No one can either get in or out. I am happy everyone in our group is safe and accounted for but my heart goes out to all the families who now have to deal with all the heartache.” From the concerned look on Rihanna’s face in the pics, she too looks heartbroken for the victims of the tragedy.
