Plain-spoken news anchor, Tomi Lahren is stirring up the already controversial topic of race with new opinions on the country’s racial tensions. This time, the host for ‘The Blaze’ is blaming President Barack Obama.
Tomi Lahren, 23, host of Final Thoughts, a daily segment on The Blaze, is sparking an internet frenzy with her latest comments on race, blaming President Barack Obama, and “two black attorney generals” for inciting Dallas shootings. Watch her arguable remarks here.
The host, who refers to President Obama as an “instigator,” claims, “We are more divided now than ever before,” after she asks, “Almost eight years in office and two black attorney generals as head of the Justice Department, and where are we today?”
“Everything is reduced to race,” she says. Going on to discuss the history of race in America, she says these types of issues existed before President Obama took office. The South Dakota native argues that “minority communities didn’t trust officers and officers dealt with that distress and the violence that sometimes came with it.”
Tomi claims the alleged Dallas shooter, Micah Xavier Johnson, 25, who killed five police officers in what is now the deadliest attack on police since 9/11, did not only have a “troubled mind,” as the President suggested, but was possibly stimulated by “the tone of the Black Lives Matter movement,” which she believes played a hand in this. Tomi does state she does “not blame black people for this attack,” and “this is not a one-sided conversation.”

The blonde news anchor is no stranger to voicing her outspoken remarks. On July 10, the known disputable commentator stirred the pot by calling the Black Lives Matter movement “the new KKK,” when appearing on CNN, Heat Street reported. Her comments quickly led to a petition, demanding she be fired from her job. More than 50,000 people have signed the appeal.
