The 2016 Olympics in Rio are just a few weeks away and the U.S. Men’s Basketball team will get some practice by taking on China on July 24. Will the ‘Dream Team’ dominate? HollywoodLife.com wants you to see this game so click to watch!
It’s time for the stars of the NBA to be like the Wu-Tang Clan and form like Voltron, forgetting their team rivalries to unite under the uniform of Team USA. Kyrie Irving, 24, will play alongside Draymond Green, 26, Kyle Lowry, 30, Paul George, 26, and Carmelo Anthony, 32. Before Kevin Durant, 27, puts on a Golden State Warriors uniform, he’ll proudly wear the red, white and blue.
Will these ballers put the Team in “Dream Team” when they play the 2015 FIBA Asia champions, China? Or will it be one big nightmare? The game starts at 10:00 PM EST so be ready to watch every thrilling second.
The game will be broadcast on NBA TV, but it’ll also be live streamed for free over at the Facebook pages of USA Basketball and the NBA. CLICK HERE TO WATCH USA VS. CHINA LIVE STREAM.

Sadly, the big story with the Dream Team is not who’s on it, but who isn’t. LeBron James, 31, Stephen Curry, 28, James Harden, 26, Andre Drummond, 22, Kevin Love, 27, and Russell Westbrook, 27, are just some of the stars that have turned down the chance to play in the 2016 Olympics. Most stars, like LeBron and Steph, are taking the summer off to rest their injuries, but with the threats of Zika and terrorism surrounding the Olympics, a gold medal might not be worth it.
Team USA has been practicing at UNLV’s Mendenhall Center, according to The Christian Post, and hopefully they’ve worked out all the kinks. China’s coach, Gong Luming, 58, will hope his Team Dragon will leave the Americans in flames. Expect team captain Zhou Peng, 26, to lead the charge, while seven-foot tall Zhou Qi, 20, will be a monster on defense.
Despite the lack of some of the NBA’s best talents, Team USA is currently ranked No. 1 in the world, while China is No. 12. It should be an awesome game, and a preview of the 2016 Olympics. Will Carmelo become the first U.S. basketball player to ever win three Olympic medals?
Who do you think is going to win this game, HollywoodLifers? USA or China?
