“Blake and Gwen are talking to Jerri Woolworth about doing an event for Gwen’s birthday in October, but an actual set up for a wedding hasn’t been spoken about yet. Some close to Blake are thinking that the birthday party is just a red herring for people to show up and then it turn into a wedding. Marriage is something that they both want but is not exactly in the near future,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. It was revealed Aug. 5 that the couple has hired wedding planner to the stars Jerri, who is one of the most sought after event planners in the U.S., helping fuel speculation that the couple are planning to tie the knot soon.
“Engagement is more likely and something that may happen in October as well, but anything more than that right now is just talk. Thoughts about a wedding should actually be slowed down just a little bit, not so fast!” our insider adds. Jerri does do plenty of non-wedding galas, planning red carpet events for CMAs and even organizing parties for President Obama, 55, so maybe Blake is just throwing the mother of all birthday bashes for when Gwen turns 47 on Oct. 3.

One thing is for sure, and that is Blake is absolutely head over heels for Gwen and can’t believe his amazing good fortune to have her as his girlfriend. He joked to Seth Meyers, 45, on Aug 5, “I still can’t believe it. She must have some vision problems.” and this is after almost 10 months as a couple. Earlier in the day he tweeted out “Oh good lord almighty….!!!” about her sexy new Cosmo cover, so all signs point to him wanting to put a ring on it sooner than later with Gwen.
