Prior to the start of the games, details about the Opening Ceremony were kept under lock and key. However, early reports claimed that the ceremony would highlight some unusual aspects of Brazil – mainly automobile fatalities and muggings. The ceremony will reportedly feature a song highlighting the country’s number of road accidents, and Brazilian model (and Tom Brady’s, 38, wife) Gisele Bundchen, 36, was supposed to get mugged.

However, the show’s organizer said that this alleged “mugging” was actually an actor, pretending to be a food vendor, running up to get a selfie with Gisele before her security guards chased the young man away. Since the scene wasn’t all that funny, it was cut, according to The Washington Post.

Hopefully, Michael Phelps, 31, and Ryan Lochte, 31, won’t be robbed of their final race against each other. These two swimming rivals will meet for the final time at the Men’s 200m Individual Medley on Aug. 11. Two days later, Michael (the only U.S. swimmer to qualify for 5 Olympics) will race in his last Olympic event. The world will definitely miss Michael and his insane set of abs.

As the Americans walk in, dressed in their Ralph Lauren uniforms, it’ll be easy to spot Ryan, as he’ll be the one with blue-silver hair. Will Ryan take the silver or will he (and other U.S.A. Olympians) take home the gold? Speaking of colors, what different shades or hues will fill the Olympics arena during this Opening Ceremony? How much skin will be on display? There’s only one way to find out.
