Uh oh! The cast of ‘The Fast and the Furious 8’ are now going to be milking the feud between Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin Diesel for all its worth. HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that the once very real fight is finally behind them, but is now being prolonged to pump up interest in the movie!
“Now everyone is playing along with the feud and using it to their advantage. We got to remember that The Rock comes from the ultimate good versus evil storylines of professional wrestling and this feud which started out as a real thing is now going to be used to sell tickets,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, 44, threw down the gauntlet on Aug. 8, taking to Facebook to call out some “unprofessional” male costars and referred to them as”chicken sh*t” and “candy a**es.” It was later that his co-star and the film’s producer Vin Diesel, 49, was the subject of his ire.
“Who doesn’t want to see their scenes together now? They are going to run with this for all that it is worth,’ our insiders adds. After all, The Rock himself promised the world that, “When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.” Oh Hell yes we’ll throw down for some movie tickets to see that kind of tension on the big screen!

The Rock chose the final week of shooting FF8 to make his beef known, and as a result it blew up interest in what was really going on during their shoot in Atlanta. He and Vin reportedly had a meeting to hash things out before Vin wrapped his last scene and allegedly stormed off the set and flew home to L.A. Upon returning, he posted an Instagram video saying he wanted to spend a little time with his family but that he would reveal “everything” to his fans about what went down between him and Dwayne. Who knows when he’ll decide to spill it, but that’s one great way to keep FF8 buzz going and active!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Dwayne and Vin will keep their battle for the sake of generating heat for FF8?
