This is seriously so disturbing. A 19-year-old Florida State University student allegedly stabbed a couple to death outside their home in Martin County on Aug. 15. But it gets worse. The frat brother, ID’d as Austin Harrouff, also tried to eat his victims’ faces. We have all the gnarly details, right here.
What a horrible story. A Florida State University student named Austin Harrouff, 19, was arrested on Aug. 15 after murdering two people by stabbing them to death. When authorities arrived they found the fraternity member chewing on the face of John Joseph Stevens III in his driveway, while his partner Michelle Mishcon lay dead in the garage.
According to a neighbor who was also injured when he tried to intervene, Austin was agitated when he appeared at John and Michelle’s home and began arguing with them before allegedly using sharp tools from the garage to kill them. Martin County police say that Austin did not know the couple, and they do not know his motive for killing them.
When cops arrived at the scene they had to use a stun gun, K9 unit, and physical force to stop Austin from chewing on John’s face. They then brought him to the hospital, where he seemed agitated and made various animals noises. They believe his odd behavior is in line with that of people who have taken the synthetic drug flakka or bath salts.
