Mac Miller Gushes Over Ariana Grande — Why She’s His Favorite Singing Partner

Mac Miller and Ariana Grande have finally taken their hot romance public, but he was already gushing with admiration for the singer even before he became her man. In a new interview, he shared why she is his favorite artist to collaborate with and you’ve got to find out the sweet reason!

Rapper Mac Miller, 24, couldn’t hold back his adoration towards Ariana Grande, 23, even before they made their official debut as a couple. He told the latest issue of Milk magazine that out of all of the amazing collaborations on his upcoming album The Divine Feminine, it was a tune featuring his future girlfriend that moved him the most.

He gushed, “There’s a song on there with Ariana that’s really, really tight. I’m singing the whole time and the difference in both of us from when we were younger (in 2013) to now? We’ve both grown so much. (The song is) very vulnerable for me too because it’s me just singing, straight-up.” The cute new pair are featured together on the album’s ninth song “My Favorite Part,” and with their amazing personal chemistry, we can’t wait to see how they match up together vocally. It’s high praise that Ari’s his favorite collaborating partner because he also has songs featuring Kendrick Lamar, CeeLo Green, Ty Dolla Sign, and Anderson Paak on his new album.

As for whether the rap star was intimidated to sing alongside the pint-sized vocal powerhouse, he was very confident that they were a perfect match. “Our voices sound really good (together)! She’s an incredible singer (because) her voice can do anything. My voice? I emote very well and it’s very raw and real. It’s like, ‘Oh sh*t you can sing.’ I’m self-conscious about it, but it’s my favorite thing to do.” Aww, since he was falling for Ari at the time they made recorded the song, we sure bet his emotions will totally show.
