Welcome to Day 11 of the Rio 2016 Olympics! It’s a wonderful time to be in Brazil, as Team USA will be looking for glory in events like gymnastics and beach volleyball. Click here to find out when and where you can watch the amazing competitions!
Day 11 begins on Aug. 16 and some really exciting events are part of the lineup! Olympic champ Simone Biles is hoping to rebound in the women’s floor exercises after a bronze in the women’s beam competition on Aug. 15. The gymnast will be competing for her 4th piece of gold in Rio and, lucky for her, is the favored in this event.

As far as the men’s bars events go, American Samuel Mikulak is Team USA’s best hope to medal. Samuel will be competing in the horizontal bars and have to beat his teammate, American Danell Leyva. Both athletes have a great shot at taking home a medal during the horizontal bar competition. Danell will also be competing in the parallel bars finals.

The American women’s beach volleyball team, Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross, just cannot be beat, but second-seeded Brazilians Ágatha Bednarczuk and Bárbara Seixas are a pretty amazing duo as well, so there match-up for the semifinals should be a pretty epic battle to watch. Don’t miss out on this event, as they are a favored to make it to the finals!
