Looking good, Michael Phelps! The 31-year-old star led the American team with style at the Maracanã Stadium Stadium on Aug. 5. Donning a Ralph Lauren designed uniform with red, white and blue stripes, the superstar athletes looked straight out of the Hamptons! They rocked pristine white pants with preppy USA-colored boat shoes. Each of their fitted blazers featured golden buttons and the Polo insignia, featuring a man with a mallet on a horse.

Michael wielded the American flag with a huge smile on his face as he entered the Olympic stadium in Rio, Brazil on Aug. 5. It was an incredibly powerful moment to watch the swimmer, who has racked up 22 medals throughout his illustrious career, perform the glorious duty.
He looked so elated to carry the banner on behalf of his team. “I’m honored to be chosen, proud to represent the U.S., and humbled by the significance of carrying the flag and all it stands for,” Michael noted in a statement. “I want to walk in the Opening Ceremony, take it all in, represent America in the best possible way and make my family proud.”
