The celebration didn’t last for long during the finale of ‘Rivals 3.’ [SPOILER] and [SPOILER] buried their beef throughout the season, but they’re enemies once again after one member of the winning duo made arguably the most controversial move in ‘The Challenge,’ history leaving their partner completely devastated.
Leave it to Johnny Bananas to make the most cunning and ruthless move The Challenge has ever seen! He FINALLY forgave his partner, Sarah, for stabbing him the back on Battle Of The Exes 2, but it’s safe to say that the pair are rivals once again…even after beating Jenna and Vince and Cheyenne and Devin to become the champions of Rivals 3.
That’s because there was a new twist this season: Not only were the three teams competing against each other, but each duo was also competing against their own partner! Throughout the brutal final challenge, every individual player had the opportunity to gain points for themselves, and whoever had more at the end got to decide whether or not they’d keep all the money, or split it with their partner fairly.

Well, $275,000 is a LOT of money…and Bananas wanted it all for himself. After winning more points than Sarah, he absolutely crushed her by taking it all and leaving her with absolutely nothing, even though they’d been working together ALL season long for the same goal. Sarah was completely paranoid about what Bananas would do throughout the entire episode, and it turned out her worst nightmare literally came true. SO crazy!
Johnny and Sarah started this season as rivals because she threw him into a last-minute elimination round on Battle of the Exes 2…and he was sent home. It’s likely the Challenge vet views taking the money as payback for what Sarah did to him, but on BOTE, they were on separate teams, and this time, they were partners. Isn’t that just a liiiiittle bit different?!
