Just two months into her pregnancy, reality star Courtney Stodden heartbreakingly lost her first child to a miscarriage. The 21-year-old and her husband, Doug Hutchinson, 55, broke the super tragic news that Courtney suffered a miscarriage in early July. So sad!
“It is with a heavy heart to inform you that last week Courtney Stodden suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage,” Courtney’s manager Gina Rodriguez revealed in a statement to People. “Courtney and her husband, Doug, are at an emotional loss for words and are using this time to grieve with their close family and friends. Please respect their privacy as the couple try to cope with losing their precious baby and seek the support they both need.”

It’s never easy to lose a baby, but this was an especially tough one to lose as it was the first for the couple. They first announced that they were expecting in May, and although Courtney admitted that she was “overwhelmed” by her pregnancy, she spent the following two months flaunting her growing belly on social media.
