Michelle Obama On Carpool Karaoke: Slays ‘Get Ur Freak On’ With Missy Elliot — Watch

Michelle Obama keeps proving how she’s by far the coolest First Lady ever, and she’s set the bar even higher by singing along with James Corden’s epic ‘Late Late Show’ segment Carpool Karaoke. She brought her A-game to hits by Beyonce and Missy Elliot and you have GOT to see the mind-blowing video!

James Corden, 37, pulls up to the gates of the White House and tells the guards he’s there for a tour when out of nowhere First Lady Michelle Obama, 52, hops in the front seat to his great surprise. As she buckles herself in she tells the stunned host, “Hi, I heard you’re here for a 1:45 tour and I have a little time on my hands, so you want to go for a spin?” and off they go!

Soon Stevie Wonder is playing and Michelle admits he’s her “favorite” and the pair break into his classic hit “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” which coincidentally was hubby President Barack Obama‘s victory song in 2008.

She laments how she “rarely gets to listen to music in the car.” She claims the last time she got to do it was “months ago” when her daughter was learning to drive, and “that was the only time in seven-and-a-half years I’ve been in the passenger’s seat listening to music, rocking out like this.”  Oh man, we bet she can’t wait for her husband’s second term to be over so she can get back to normal activities like this! She said it was “such a treat.”

Michelle and James then broke into Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies” and SHE KNEW ALL THE VIDEO’S DANCE MOVES and did them with her hands as she sang along. God, this woman can do no wrong. Watching her do this has officially cemented her as the coolest First Lady ever. She even admitted at the end that they were “making honey to put in our lemonade,” giving a clear Beyhive holla!

Michelle also helped promote a good cause singing the Dianne Warren penned “This Is For My Girls” anthem inspired by the Let Girls Learn initiative. The cause helps draw attention to the 62 million girls around the world who don’t have access to education. She and James both proudly sang along after Michelle’s passionate argument that “So much could be corrected in the world if girls were educated and had power over their lives. ” Missy Elliott then jumped in the back seat to help sing along on the song she helped record along with Kelly Clarkson and they had such a jammin’ time!

Then our minds were BLOWN when they all jumped into Missy’s classic “Get Ur Freak On” which Michelle rocked AND knew every line to. OMG…we’re….dead!!!! All hail the coolest First Lady we could ever hope for!
