Everyone’s musical collaboration dreams were just granted! Britney Spears and Selena Gomez just teased a collaboration on Twitter and the internet is freaking out! See what the artists had to say!
Selena Gomez, 23, and Britney Spears, 34, just gave us the best Christmas in July gift we could’ve possibly ever wanted! The two pop stars adorably discussed a collab on Twitter when the Selena update account, “Official Selenators” tweeted a Snapchat video of Sel sitting on a couch with a crown emoji on her head.
In the video she says,”Well babe, technically I have done a duet with Britney, [It’s] called ‘Hands,’ buy it.” Selena is referring to her involvement in the charity song, “Hands,” which features Britney and many more artists to raise money for victims of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando.
Selena’s video made it’s way through the Twitter-verse garnering over 11,000 retweets and over 17,000 likes, to where it eventually caught the eye of Britney herself! Brit responded by tweeting, “But when are we working on our actual duet @selenagomez?” AH!
After that, the internet went nuts — including us! We can’t even fathom the fact of a duet with two of our favorite music icons, and neither could anyone else apparently. Check out some of these insane reactions after Sel and Brit shook up social media!

We feel you, everyone! This seriously needs to happen so we can hear some major girl power on a new track. Currently the two artists are super busy though — Selena is traveling the world on her Revival tour and Brit is selling out live shows at her residency in Vegas. But, we’re not too worried. If these two stars are teasing a duet on Twitter, we have a feeling something great could be in the works. Fingers crossed!
