Whoa! ‘Scream Queens’ is going to be a totally different show when it comes back in the fall, as the cast and creators dropped from major bombshells at Comic-Con. ‘Saturday Night Live’ vet Cecily Strong will be bringing her biting humor to the show and so many more changes will be happening! Keep reading for what’s in store for season two.
First let’s start with the good news that all the Kappa Kappa Tau ladies and other season one stars will be returning, including Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis. It’s already been announced that John Stamos, Taylor Lautner and Colton Hayes will be bringing their hotness to season two, and we totally can’t wait to see them join the show.
The series will undergo a major time jump of three years to help change-up the plot and will take place in a hospital that used to be an insane asylum. The owner of the place is none other that Jamie Lee’s character Dean Munsch, but we’ll have to wait to find out why she’d want to purchase it. Hmmm!
We’ve learned that John’s character is a surgeon who just so happens to be the recipient of the world’s first complete hand transplant. Umm, that’s probably not a good thing for a surgeon to undergo. Executive Producer Ian Brennan explained, “[He] may have the hand of a brilliant surgeon, or [he] may have one from a squash player who killed his opponents.” We’re going to guess he got the hand of a murderer!

As for the Chanels, the ladies are “down and out” when they first appear according to Ian. “They’ve fallen from glamor, but they’re trying to hold onto it as much as they can,” Emma added. “It’s funny seeing them try to hold onto their style when they have no money.” They will be involved in the hospital plotline and of course will bring their style to the creepy place.
And lastly, let’s give a big let’s just first give a great big “hooray” for the news that SNL funny lady Cecily Strong has been tapped to guest star as a hospital patient. We know she’s going to bring the dark laughs to the show and ace it!
