Manchester City fans have been purring with delight at the managerial appointment of Pep Guardiola, ever since it was announced last season that he was taking over the managerial hot-seat from Manuel Pellegrini. He’s added some incredible talent to an already impressive roster, including Nolito, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Ilkay Gundogan, just to name a few. They’ve added over $140 million of new players, so they will be raring for the chance to impress in this one.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have been quiet in the transfer market once again. At the start of the summer they added midfield enforcement in the form of Granit Xhaka, who will provide strength and composure in the middle of the park. But other signings Rob Holding, 20, and Takuma Asano, 21, are both seen as buys for the future. With not long until the transfer window closes (Aug. 31), Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is leaving it late to do his shopping.
But this Arsenal team still has bags of quality, even if they seem to be in need of a 20-goal a season striker. In Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez they have three players that would walk into most teams in the Premier League. They just have to get the right balance in the team to be considered Premier League title hopefuls.
