Get ready everyone, it’s time to show off those beach bodies! US swimmer Katie Ledecky has been gearing up for this moment as she aims to the win the gold medal on Aug. 7 at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Michael Phelps will also be competing, and we don’t want you to miss a second of Speedo action!
Is it getting hot in here, or is it just us awaiting the performances of US legends Katie Ledecky, 19, Ryan Lochte, 32, (AKA the guy with blue hair), and Michael Phelps, 31, — just to name a few! The competition is going to be FIERCE, but even if sports aren’t your thing, be sure to tune in to watch the fit and sexy athletes dive underwater in skintight swimsuits — you won’t be disappointed! Both the men’s and women’s freestyle competition kicks off at 9:00 pm EST on Aug. 7. The women are battling it out in the 400m freestyle final race, and the men are contending in the 4x100m freestyle relay final. Needless to say, there’s A LOT on the line here, and we can’t wait to see who will win the gold!

Katie is possibly the most recognizable face on the US women’s swim team, and is no stranger to finishing #1. She is the current world record-holder in the 400, 800, and 1,500-meter freestyle — and SHE’S ONLY NINETEEN! Who has time for silly boyfriends when you’ve got a skyrocketing career?! Michael will also be present, and surely you remember him blowing the competition out of the water in when he finished first at the Olympic trials in the 100m butterfly race in just 51 seconds! Michael is the most celebrated swimmer of all time and has TWENTY TWO gold medals under his belt.

He’s also kind of a bad boy. He’s been arrested twice for driving under the influence, and in 2009, Michael was suspended from the USA Swimming team after he was photographed smoking a water pipe. This resulted in the Kellogg Company backing out as a sponsor for the Olympics. As much fun as it is to watch Michael swim, you just never know what he’ll do next outside the pool!
