Truce? After Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson went on a lengthy rant against unprofessional and ‘Chicken Sh*t’ male co-stars on ‘Fast and the Furious 8,’ it turns out the franchise’s longtime star Vin Diesel was the object of his epic diss. Keep reading to see how the two superstars had a secret meeting to calm their icy feud.
Whoa, when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 44, went on a total social media tirade against a “Candy A**” and “Chicken Sh*t” male co-star, it turns out his ire was directed at the Fast and the Furious OG star Vin Diesel, 49. Because The Rock made his beef so public, the two had a secret sit down meeting Aug. 9 to try to work out their differences for the sake of the production.
TMZ reports that the two actors had a mid-day meeting on the film’s Atlanta set after Dwayne called out an anonymous co-star’s unprofessional behavior. The site claims, “The Rock has butted heads with Vin during the production, in part because Vin is a producer and has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ.” They add that the meeting also happened, “partly because tensions were running so high it was almost impossible to shoot scenes. We do not know if they resolved their issues.” Wow! This sounds beyond intense, and with terrible timing too as the shoot only has a week and a half to wrap. The last thing it needs it this kind of drama holding production up, especially since Dwayne’s rant has the cast completely pissed off at him.
‘Furious 7’ Premiere — PICS
The Rock blew things up on Aug. 8 when he posted to his Facebook and Instagram accounts that he had issues with a male co-star. “Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh*t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es,” he wrote. He then followed it up with a promise that, “When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.” Yikes! Well, we’ll for sure be watching for his interactions with Vin to see if his anger at him jumps off the screen!
HollywoodLifers, are you surprised it was Vin that The Rock put on blast with his epic rant?
