Actions may speak louder than words when it comes to what’s going on in Justin Bieber’s relationship with rumored girlfriend Sofia Richie. A top body language expert shares with HollywoodLife.com exactly what the pair is telling us with their adorable and playful behavior.
“Based on the photos of them together, Justin may have found his feisty match in Sofia which makes for a dynamic relationship. They know how to be playful with each other and how to be affectionate and connected,” Body Language Expert Patti Wood tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about Justin Bieber, 22, and Sofia Richie, 17.
“In the photo of Justin standing behind her, I like how he has his arms wrapped around her. It shows tender ownership signaling ‘She is mine.’ She feels comfortable and connected and sheltered by him. He’s willing to let her in and connect with her,” she continues. Whew, this sounds like things are getting pretty serious if he’s putting out the message that Sofia is “his” girl with his physical attraction.
Even though he hasn’t officially called her his “girlfriend” yet, his ex Selena Gomez, 24, is already sure that Sofia is now his official one and only. She used the label when calling him out on Instagram Aug. 14, saying “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.” Sofia even made their relaitonship “Instagram official” by posting a pic of them with their arms around each other in Tokyo Aug. 15.

“The photos of them goofing around in the backseat of a car show that she can be playful with him, but she is her own person and also has power in the relationship. It also shows that he feels comfortable with her and can be himself,” Patti adds of the pics Justin posted to his Instagram where where they were seen making funny faces, and Sofia even posed with her fingers pointing a pretend gun at his head!
“There’s an interesting play of power between the two of them which makes for a unique relationship. The power dynamic between them could be the best thing because he can’t just be the star. Sofia wants to play at the same level. He may have found his power equal.” Wow, it sounds like these two could really go the distance as they seem like a great match!
