Clearly the N’SYNC obsession is STILL very real! It was evident there are strings still attached from everyone around the world after their reunion pic went completely viral. The handsome group met up August 8 to celebrate JC Chasez‘s 40th birthday, and of course, Justin Timberlake, 35, posted the heart-stopping moment to Instagram. Well, the internet went WILD and guesses as to why the guys really reunited, aside from their good friends birthday, started to emerge. Many believed a secret album was in the works, so we obviously had to get to the bottom of it. HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY learned, “They love each other, they will probably do something again someday, but it is not going to happen after all this excitement from the picture.” We know guys, we’re upset too, but you we can dream for now!
As for the meaning behind the pic? It seems as though the pic is exactly what is appears to be — just a couple of good friends celebrating their best bud’s birthday. “It was definitely not an announcement for something more in the near future,” the source told us.
Although the pic wasn’t a secret sign of an epic album, there’s nothing wrong with having some faith guys. When we caught up with Joey Fatone, 39, on our podcast in March 2016, we chatted with him about the possibility of the band getting back together. What he had to say was pretty interesting! “We never really talk about it that much,” he said. However, he added, “Every once in a while we say it would be cool, but it’s a matter of getting everyone’s schedules together. If I were to write something, I wouldn’t hesitate to ask the guys to put their vocals on it.” AH! Never say never, right?

The guys are no strangers to making an appearance or two either. The five stars came together for a 90-second performance at the MTV VMAs, after Justin won the Video Vanguard Award in 2013, and gave us all the feels. So, here’s to hoping the band could have something special for us in the future!
