Woah! Things are getting heavy in PARTYNEXTDOOR’s new track, ‘Problems & Selfless’ where he sings ‘you would kill yourself, O.D. and blame it on love.’ Could he be hashing up the frightening details of his ex, Kehlani’s suicide attempt? Listen here!
PARTYNEXTDOOR, 23, seems to be getting super real on his new album as one of his new tracks sounds like he’s singing about his ex Kehlani‘s, 21, scary suicide attempt. Listen to the song below where he references someone trying to end their life and hints that this person is blaming their “O.D. on love.”
Party dropped his latest studio album ‘PartyNextDoor 3’ TODAY, August 12. The desolate track gets deep into it’s title, “Problems & Selfless,” when PND sings about “staying quiet,” but what about? He even asks this certain someone, “what did I do to you?” and even references that this person makes him “look crazy.” He drops so many seemingly hostile hints that he could have issues with SOMEONE and we need to know what’s going on here!
As if we weren’t inquiring enough already, more of the song’s lyrics are making us ask questions. He claims there are “two beautiful women arguing over me” and he sings “two beautiful women claiming that they love me.” WHO could they be? Whoever the song is about, he hints at this person not wanting other women to love him, while they apparently “don’t love him.” It seems like PND is entangled in a giant web of messy feelings with multiple people..
PARTYNEXTDOOR — PICS
This isn’t the first track to raise eyebrows with tons of questions. There are at least two other songs where he talks about missing an ex-girlfriend, but who? Could it be Kylie Jenner, 19, who he’s apparently had relations with in the past after her brief split from current boyfriend, Tyga, 26? The two did have a steamy make out session in his video for “Come and See me.” SO many questions, PND!
While the R&B hitmaker continues to keep us guessing, we’ll be playing his new tracks on repeat! Kehlani has yet to comment on the song, but we’ll be keeping an eye out to see if there are any more hints to PND’s wild lyrics.
