It will be a day for the history books. Usain Bolt, the 29 year-old from Jamaica, will look to add to his 6 gold medals when he races the 100 meter finals at 9:25pm EST. There will be several track & field events throughout the day including several 100m semifinals and 4 events offering medals for the winner. Other events going down during this huge day on the track include: high jump qualifications, women’s 400 semifinals, and women’s 1500m semifinals. Allyson Felix will join runners from around the world as she competes in the women’s 400m semifinals for a shot at the finals and the record books on the 15th. Allyson has recovered from serious injuries and is looking to be in top form as she tackles Rio.
