WOAH! While we still don’t know exactly who Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s intense Facebook rant against his ‘Fast and Furious’ co-stars was about, Tyrese decided post a lengthy message himself! In a now deleted Instagram video he went off about the situation and didn’t hold back a morsel of feeling! See his shocking reaction to the controversy!
After Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 44, took to Facebook to let out his apparent frustrations with some of his co-stars from Fast and the Furious 8. He bragged about his female co-stars and Universal, but he referred to some of his fellow cast-mates as “chicken sh*t” and “candy a**es” when claiming they don’t conduct themselves as “stand up men” or “true professionals.” Now, Tyrese Gibson, 37, decided to use his social media to speak out about ‘The Rock’s comments. In a now deleted Instagram post, he uploaded a video of Dwayne singing “Happy Birthday” to his daughter, with a lengthy message next to it, seemingly clearing his name of any speculation the original rants had anything to do with him. Watch the video below.
In the post he claims he does not know “who” the former WWE star “has a problem with” and that he was only posting for his late friend and co-star, Paul Walker, who tragically died in a car accident, November 30, 2013.
His post read:
“…why are you guys so impressionable? A man wouldn’t be singing from his heart and soul to another mans little angel if he had a problem with her dad – Does any of us know why bro decided to jump out there with his post? No…Would one assume that IF he’s going to jump out there and generalize and say ‘Male Co-Stars’ he would be more clear and call out names??? Of course he should of—Let me calm you guys all the way down…I don’t know WHO he has a problem and I don’t have any details of WHAT those problems are—as a matter of fact if I DID know I would tell you s–t!!!! I will humbly say this I’m personally not doing this for anyone but my brother Paul Walker—this franchise is not about and has never been about anyone of us individually it’s about the #FASTFAMILY—the TRIBE…I love this franchise and ALL of the hard working past and present crews that have contributed to one of the biggest Multi Ethnic franchise films in the history of cinema….. The creative team of executive on ALL levels…… I think Dewayne aka DJ happens to be one of the most humble, down to earth and professional people I’ve ever worked with and more importantly he’s my brother we have NEVER had a problem and will never have a problem…WE are good over here….As a cast we’re ALL married dammit!!!” He continued to voice his opinions, and showing support for the movie. Tyrese finished his comments with, “As a cast we’re ALL married dammit!!!” WOW! Like we told you, the post is now deleted. While we are unsure why, he did give us more insight into the unexpected movie fury.
Tyrese — PICS
Now that Tyrese seems to be taking his name out of the equation, who is Dwayne really referring to? A new report August 10, claims Vin Diesel, 49, fled the set “minutes after wrapping his final scene.” So, is there trouble in Fast paradise with these two? While there aren’t too many answers to this movie tirade at the moment, we did tell you that things haven’t been as pleasant on the set between all the co-stars. “The family atmosphere that the cast had is no longer there and it feels more like a job on set. Paul was the voice of reason on the set and with him no longer there the egos have taken over,” a source told us.
Since social media has been the place for the stars to air their issues out, we’ll be keeping a close watch on this sticky situations. But, we really hope everyone can resolve any issues they may have!
