The ‘Duck Dynasty’ star gushed over her new man, Texas A&M quarterback, Trevor Knight and revealed adorable details inside their ‘super supportive’ relationship. Sadie Robertson, 19, is off the market! She admitted that she’s been dating Texas A&M football quarterback, Trevor Knight, 22, for three weeks now, so we’re estimating that puts their romance start date sometime around July 2016. Sadie dished all the sweet details in an interview with Entertainment Tonight August 8, and she even admitted that he’s already got the whole family’s “stamp of approval!” Her mom, Korie Robertson, apparently “gave Trevor two thumbs up when asked for her review,” the site said.
After revealing they’ve only been dating for a short time Sadie mentioned, “so it’s super chill,” but it looks like these two have been smitten with each other for a bit longer than a few weeks by the looks of their Instagram accounts. With a huge smile on her face the Duck Dynasty star explained how the two came together. “He had messaged me because he goes to Haiti every year on a mission trip and he saw that I go to Haiti,” she explained. “We just kinda connected through that, very much friends at first.” AW!

Upon meeting, the pair even took in a Justin Bieber, 22, concert together. She explained, that that he attended the concert with her and “I guess we just hit it off.” But, their communication took a quiet turn. “We didn’t date then,” Sadie said. “Actually, I didn’t talk to him for a month after that. I was like, ‘No,'” Wait what?! However, Trevor wasn’t done trying to win her heart. She revealed, “Then a month later he called me and was like, ‘So, why didn’t you just talk to me for a month?’ And we ended up becoming friends and, of course, started dating three weeks ago.” PHEW! We got nervous for a second there!
We’re glad the two were able to reconnect after their brief silence because they seem to be the perfect match! Sadie later joked, “My family’s a little scary and a little intimidating — they’re big LSU fans and he plays for Texas A&M — so that was kinda funny, but he’s a good guy. Even Pepaw Phil was nice!” SO cute!
