Megan and her 90210 alum hubby welcomed Journey River Green to their brood of boys on Aug. 4, according to E! News. WHAT a stellar name, right? We’re kind of in love with it! And while, according to Nameberry.com, the name is most commonly used for a female, we think it makes a fantastic boys name! It means a spiritual or actual voyage.

Both of their first two sons together, Noah Shannon and Bodhi Ransom, have spiritual names so we’re not at all surprised that Journey’s name also has very meaningful ties. After all, Noah is a Hebrew name that means comfort, long-lived, and repose. Of course there’s also the biblical meaning, as Noah is the one who built the ark, allowing his family and the animals to survive the flood.
On the other hand, Bodhi is taken from Buddhism, and means the “understanding possessed by Buddha” in regards to the “nature of things.” In more simple terms, Bodhi translated into english is “enlightenment.” Pretty beautiful, right? There’s no question Journey definitely makes a great addition to the fam!
We could not be happier for this adorable family and it’s BEYOND obvious that Megan absolutely loves being a mom. In fact, Brian has even gushed about how amazing of a mom Megan is. “[Megan] is absolutely my better half in parenting, she just gets it. It’s instinctual for her.” Brian said during a 2014 interview. SO sweet!
