The American team of Phil Dalhausser and Nicholas Lucnea are really good and are going to be tough to beat in beach volleyball when they face the Italian team of Daniele Lupo and Paolo Nicolai. Phil and Nicholas have been getting the job done with some amazing serving and fantastic team work. Their communication during their sets has been superb and these two seem to be really working well together. They are favored for a place on the podium and may very well earn a gold. First the American pair must make it past the Italian team. After the beach volleyball prelim rounds, countries will move on to sudden death games until one team is left standing at which point a gold will be awarded.
