Fresh off an exciting gold medal win, U.S. women’s gymnastics team members Simone Biles and Aly Raisman are hoping to earn a spot on the winners’ podium once more on Aug. 11 in the individual all-around competition. See what happens with a live stream right here!
Can Aly Raisman and Simone Biles be American heroes once again? They’re likely still riding high after Team USA absolutely crushed the competition in the women’s team all-around finals at the Rio Olympics on Aug. 9, so confidence is probably not an issue — especially because they were the two top-scoring gymnasts in the individual all-around qualifiers. The finals kick off at 3:00 pm ET so be sure to tune in to find out if Simone and Aly win medals again!

As exciting as it is for the U.S. to have two girls competing in the 2016 individual all-around, it’ll be a tough one for reigning individual all-around champ Gabby Douglas to watch. As you may recall, Gabby was denied another attempt to take home the gold in this event in the qualifying rounds because of the two-country rule. Fans were furious about Gabby’s loss, as she technically had the third place score!

Despite her shocking elimination, all Gabby could talk about after the qualifying rounds was the “amazing journey” she and her team have had before and during the Rio Olympics. This year’s team — referred to as the Fab Five — is seemingly closer than any of the U.S. teams in the 2016 Olympics, so it sounds like Gabby will be rooting for her teammates instead of being bitter about getting cut. Now the question is, will Aly or Simone be able to keep the women’s individual all-around reign? We can’t wait to find out!
