USA, USA! Here we go Olympic fans. Gabby Douglas and all the Team USA women’s gymnastics athletes will continue their journey for gold when they compete on Aug. 7th beginning at 8:45am EST. Watch every athlete chase their dreams in Rio online here!
Aug. 7th will be a day of Mixed Group Qualifiers which will feature countries from around the world competing in women’s gymnastics. The US women will be flexing their skills at 4:30pm EST. In addition to London Olympic Gold winner Gabby Douglas, the American team also features Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian. All of these lovely ladies you can expect to be standing on top of the podium at the end of the Rio Olympics. WATCH THE WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS ONLINE HERE.
The US Women’s Gymnastics team is stocked with talent and this is the first of many rounds of competition before any medals are awarded. Also scheduled on the first day of qualifying in the evening session include athletes from: Iceland, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa and Netherlands. Then in the same Mixed Group 2 as the Americans, expect to see the best female gymnasts from Venezuela, Slovenia, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Greece as well as our women from the United States of America.

Many of the stars on the women’s team are returning Olympians from the 2012 London games and there is also some new talent added to the team. The 16 year-old, Laurie Hernandez is the youngest Olympian on the team and has amazing skills. She will be one to keep and eye on throughout her time in Rio.
